Had a great chat with Arno about the program to better understand the mutual fit. Much like venture interviews, the conversation is meant to better understand who you are and why, pragmatically, venture is the route you want to take. Arno was also able to answer any questions I had about the program, leaving little room for doubt.

Arno was very helpful and relatable. It's clear what he and John have built - a much needed conduit between quality VC opportunities and promising future VCs. Not only are they providing transparency and partnership in an opaque and often lonely recruiting process, but they are also facilitating the creation of future VC networks that will pay it forward.

It's rare to get someone's time for 30 minutes straight to discuss something you're both interested in. I was lucky today to have that opportunity with Nikolai. I learned a lot about the impetus behind why GoingVC was set up and couldn't help but agree with all the reasons given that I've faced the problems Nikolai described in my quest for a VC role so far. Regardless of whether I'm chosen for the group, I enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the co-founder of what will continue to be a great resource for me on my path towards VC and entrepreneurship.

Only feedback I can think of is to email candidates stock questions/content/bios before conversation so that more time can be dedicated to relationship building and less time to content delivery.
